Meis Greek Island Boat

With its small population and pristine shores, Meis offers a serene escape, where after a quick 30-minute boat ride, you can explore the vibrant island adorned with colorful houses, discover the enchanting Blue Grotto on its southeastern side, and then take time to wander the charming streets lined with shops and cafes, indulging in Greek drinks or soaking up the sun, with much to offer, including churches, a museum, and the island's fortress.

How it Works...

You'll be collected from your accommodation and taken to Kas to embark on an unforgettable journey aboard your boat. Dive into the natural wonder of the Blue Grotto and immerse yourself in the charm of the picturesque, shop-lined streets of Meis. With its small population of only a few hundred permanent residents, Meis offers a serene escape in a whole different country. After a swift 30-minute boat ride, we'll arrive at the vibrant island of Meis, adorned with colourful houses and pristine shores.

Before we delve into Meis's treasures, let's first discover the enchanting allure of the Blue Grotto, nestled on the southeastern side of the island. Despite its unassuming exterior, once you glide through its 1-meter-high entrance, you'll be captivated by the ethereal beauty as the morning sunlight dances upon the water, casting a mesmerizing shade of turquoise blue. Inside the cave, spanning 50 meters, you'll be transported to a realm of magic, with the chance of encountering the cave's native inhabitants, the Mediterranean monk seals. After a refreshing swim, it's time to satisfy your appetite.

Meander through the streets lined with charming shops and inviting cafes at your leisure. Indulge in a strong Greek drink, acquire a unique souvenir, or simply bask in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun; the choice is yours. Meis holds countless surprises waiting to be uncovered, from intricately constructed churches to the local museum, and, of course, the island's namesake fortress, all of which are must-visit attractions.

We recommend lingering long enough to relish in the flavours of classic Greek seafood at one of the local restaurants. Then, as the sun begins its descent, we'll sail back to Kas, serenaded by the soothing rhythm of the waves and the kaleidoscope of colours painting the sky.
